Namie Amuro releases new album ‘PAST < FUTURE'
Namie Amuro (安室奈美恵) is set to unleash another side of herself on Dec.16 when her new album “PAST < FUTURE (パスト フューチャー)” hits music shelves around the country.
Amuro (born September 20, 1977) is a Japanese singer, entertainer, and former actress, who, at the height of her popularity, was referred to as the “Queen of Japanese pop music”.
Posters featuring Amuro’s face concealed behind an image from her previous album “BEST FICTION” – which sold over 1.7 million copies – have been in stores for the past couple of weeks, but they were replaced with posters of her ripping apart the old image to expose a new and vibrant Amuro.
“PAST < FUTURE” goes on sale Dec.16 for 3,059 yen. The CD plus DVD which features Amuro in six video clips costs 3,990 yen.
