Wagaya no rekishi

In spring 2010, Fuji TV’s special drama “Wagaya no Rekishi (わが家の歴史/Our Family’s History)” will be broadcast .

The drama was written by Koki Mitani (三谷幸喜), and the lead actress is Kou Shibasaki (柴咲コウ).

The supporting cast who will become family members and close friends of Shibasaki include, among others, Jun Matsumoto (松本 潤), actresses Maki Horikita (堀北真希) and Yuki Amami (天海祐希) , and actor Koichi Sato (佐藤浩市).

Jun Matsumoto

Jun Matsumoto (born August 30, 1983), often called MatsuJun, is a Japanese idol. He is best known for being the youngest member of the popular boy group Arashi (嵐）.

Matsumoto will play the part of Shibasaki’s younger brother. He made reporters laugh by jokingly commenting “When I hide my thick eyebrows with my hair, my eyes look the same as Shibasaki-san’s. I’m glad I really look like her brother.” Shibasaki in real life doesn’t have brothers or sisters. She smiled and said “I’ve always wanted to have brothers and sisters, so it was fun to experience what it’s like.”

The story takes place between 1945 and 1964, chronicling the lives of the seven members of the fictional Yame family (八女家).
