Although it has been turned into a television drama four times in the past, this will be the first movie adaptation.

Along with “Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (時をかける少女),” “Nanase Futatabi” is one of the best known works written by Tsutsui.

I like her as well as “Nanase futatabi”. I enjoyed the original novel, Yumi Takigawa’s version,Yuki Watanabe’s, and the most recent Misako Renbutsu’s. Yet Nanase is one of the trilogy which is the sequel to “Kazoku Hakkei” and the prequel to “Edipusu No Koibito”. I don’t know why the other two books have never been TV dramatized or filmed though both are excellent and interesting, too. I hope the whole of the trilogy will be a TV show and movies.
