Namie Amuro X Gundam

Namie Amuro’s new music video for – Defend Love – sees her suit up in pink gear to battle with Amuro Ray (アムロ・レイ).
Amuro Ray is a fictional character from the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, which aired in 1979-80.

Namie Amuro said that she has loved the Gundam series since elementary school when she learned she had the same name as Amuro Ray.

She is the first living person to make an appearance in the series. Production took two months, and the theme of the song and video is world peace.
