H&M Shinsaibashi Store in Osaka
H&M’s First Osaka store open in Shinsaibashi on March 6, 2010.
H&M is a Swedish clothing company, known for its fast fashion clothing offerings for women, men, teenagers and children. It has around 2,000 stores in 35 different countries.
H&M Shinsaibashi store will be the core tenant in Marubeni’s new “Luz Shinsaibashi (ラズ心斎橋)”seven-story complex near Ebisubashi (戎橋). H&M is expected to take up the first four floors.
Ebisubashi is just under the Glico Man billboard. Originally constructed to provide access to the nearby Ebisu Shrine, the bridge is a pick-up spot in Osaka, as well as the location of a legendary curse for Osaka baseball team, the Hanshin Tigers (阪神タイガース). More practically, the bridge provides a link between the Shinsaibashi-suji (心斎橋筋) and Ebisubashi-suji (戎橋筋)shopping districts.
