Rei Kikukawa x Seicho Matsumoto
Rei Kikukawa(菊川 怜) will play a housewife who becomes a hostess in Fuji TV’s upcoming drama special “Sankyo no sho (山峡の章)”.
Kikukawa wears a sexy red evening dress at a hostess club as she tries to get to the truth behind her husband and younger sister’s mysterious deaths, which appear to have been a double suicide. Rei Kikukawa (born Feb. 28, 1978) is a Japanese actress and mode.
She is a graduate of the University of Tokyo where she majored in architecture.
Despite her collegiate pedigree, her lack of knowledge on a variety of subjects was exposed on a variety show, she became classified as an “obaka-aidoru” or “dumb idol” – entertainers known for their good looks and lack of intelligence.
It is the fourth time for Kikukawa to star in an adaptation of a Seicho Matsumoto(松本 清張) novel, with the previous three all scoring healthy ratings of 15 to 17%.
Seicho Matsumoto ( Dec. 21, 1909-Aug.4, 1992) was a prolific Japanese writer, awarded the Akutagawa Prize in 1952 as well as the Mystery Writers of Japan Prize.
“Sankyo no sho” will air on Fuji TV on Jan. 29 at 9 p.m.

I am looking for the novel Kuroi Jakai by Matsumoto, any help? Of course I am looking in English but at this point even having it in Japanese would be very cool. Thank you
