Customized Mercedes-Benz SL600s, Luxury Crystal Benz, studded with 300,000 Swarovski crystal glass, are displayed at the pavilion of custom car accessory company Garson/D.A.D.
Tokyo Auto Salon 2010
Tokyo Auto Salon (東京オートサロン) is an annual auto show held in January at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba City, for performance and custom dress-up parts and technology display. Hosted by the Nippon Auto Parts Aftermarket Committee .
Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 is the largest auto exhibition with 631 vehicles on display as well as some 300 companies, associations and schools including after- market parts manufacturers, custom shops, car manufacturers, automotive businesses, and automotive vocational schools, etc.
Exhibits include not only custom cars and car tuning products but also every topic for those who love cars including intros to customizing technology and custom car product sales.
This event is famous for several reasons. First, for cool cars. Second, it’s known for the pretty Japanese campaign girls.
Tokyo Auto Salon 2010
There is no cosplay at the show, but it has the vibe of some of the big cosplay events in that you get the feeling many of the people at the show have little interest in cars.
