CHiAKi KURiYAMA sings “Ryusei no Namida” for “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn”

Chiaki Kuriyama (栗山千明) is set to make her singing debut.
Spelling her name as CHiAKi KURiYAMA, she will release a single titled “Ryusei no Namida (流星のナミダ)” on February 24.

Kuriyama (born October 10, 1984) is a Japanese actress and model. She is best-known for the part of the bloodthirsty schoolgirl-dressing bodyguard, in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, Volume I, and also her role in the Japanese film Battle Royale.
“Ryusei no Namida” will be used as the theme song of the animated “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (機動戦士ガンダムUC),” the newest in the “Gundam” franchise. “Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn” is being released as a set of six OVAs starting in March.
