You could spend hours drooling over the elaborate pastries and picture-perfect sushi rolls at Istean’s recently refurbished, super-stylish depachika (デパ地下).

Square watermelons and ¥50,000 matsutake mushrooms are displayed with gallery-like reverence. But one of the best things about this depachika is the small standing bar serving single-malt scotch and whiskey in the wine department.
