aiko X movie “Darling wa Gaikokujin”

aiko will sing a movie theme song for the Darling wa Gaikokujin (My Darling is a Foreigner). Based on an autobiographical manga series by Saori Oguri, the film stars actress Mao Inoue (井上真央) and actor Jonathan Sherr.
aiko, (born November 22, 1975) a Japanese pop singer-songwriter,made her debut in July 1998 with her song Ashita. After the release of her third single Hanabi, she became recognised nationwide.
Her second album, Sakura no Ki no Shita sold over one million copies, and her sixth single, Boyfriend, became her best-selling CD single.
aiko also sang the insert song for Hana Yori Dango Final which premiered on June 28, 2008.
Her new song, titled Mukai Awase (向かいあわせ), is her first movie theme since 2005.
The movie Darling wa Gaikokujin opens on April 10, and aiko has scheduled a nationwide tour starting the same month.
She also has announced that she will release a new album on March 31.
