DIO – Distraught Overlord will disband on March 13

Dio – Distraught Overlord – (ディオ) have suddenly announced they are to desiband.
The visual kei band formed in late 2006, has been on hiatus since guitarist Erina’s departure in September 2009.
Dio explain that they will not be returning as Dio but rather as a new band with a different name. The lineup will remain the same but their direction of music will change.
The band wants to thank fans for all their support, both in Japan and across the world.
They said in a message to fans on their website that they have had many great experiences.They apologize that Dio will be coming to an end and know that starting a new band will take a little time, but the members are excited about showing a new side to the world.
The Dio Last Live, FINAL CALL will be at TAKADANOBABA AREA on the 13th of March.
