Mobile Suit Gundam 00

The anime studio Sunrise has announced the official title of its Mobile Suit Gundam 00 film on its website. The title will be “Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie: A wakening of the Trailblazer”. The film will open September 2010 and continue the story from the two television seasons of the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 anime series.

Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (機動戦士ガンダム00) is the seventh incarnation of Sunrise’s long-running Gundam franchise consisting of two seasons. It is the first Gundam series to be animated in widescreen and in high-definition, as well as the first to be set in the non-fictional Anno Domini era. The series is set in a futuristic Earth and centered around Celestial Being, a private paramilitary force and their efforts to rid the world of war and conflict with a series of unique and highly effective mobile suits known as “Gundams”.

Sunrise also announced that advance tickets will go on sale on March 27 with one of two card-sized stickers.

type A

The “Type.A” sticker will depict the main character Setsuna and a mysterious new character.

Type B

The “Type.B” Sticker will feature Setsuna’s new Gundam 00 Quanta mobile suit.
