TVXQ member Jejung X Drama “Sunao ni Narenakute”
TVXQ member Jejung (born Jan.26,1986) has been cast in his first Japanese drama.
TVXQ, an acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (東方神起), is a South Korean boy band quintet formed in 2003.
Jejung will appear in Fuji TV’s “Sunao ni Narenakute,” which stars Eita (瑛太) and Juri Ueno (上野樹里) in a story of five friends who meet through the social networking service Twitter.
The series was first unveiled last month, with four of the five key characters revealed. Each character struggles with his or her own problems, but their friendship helps them overcome those issues.
In Jejung’s case, he plays a doctor who moves with his sister from Korea to Japan, where he begins working for a medical equipment manufacturer. However, he is burdened with a lot of pressure, as he finds himself unable to produce strong results for the company.
Jejung who starred in the Korean movie “Heaven’s Postman (天国の郵便配達員)” in which Eriko Kitagawa (北川悦吏子) also wrote the script will cooperate once again.
“Sunao ni Narenakute” is coming this April and will air every Thursday at 10 pm.
