Godiva Japan leading the world in starting selling “Ice Cream Truffles”

 Godiva Japan Co., http://www.godiva.co.jp/store/default_en.php, the  Japanese local corporation of the worldwide famous Belgian chocolatier Godiva, started selling the first “Ice Cream truffles” in the world on this April 28th. 

   This new item is a compound of  a chocolate truffle representing the traditional high-brow taste of the company  and  ice cream.  A  truffle -shaped mouthful- size  piece of ice cream is coated with chocolate.   The ice cream truffles have  four flavor types, namely a richer ” milk chocolate” , a creamy ” ivory “, a  balmy ” strawberry”, and a dense “Belgian dark” , all of which are decorated with various textures as well.

The ice cream truffles are available at Godiva stores in the street and its stores in major department stores nationwide.  The item’s price is ￥399 (about  US $ 4,  €3.5)  per set consisting of  2 pieces of  the ice cream.
