Plastic Tree, also known as PuraTori or Pura, was formed in 1993.
The most easily recognizable signature of Plastic Tree’s music is the melodic, child-like voice of Arimura. Their sound is also aided by Arimura’s abstract lyrics. All three band members collaborate to write songs and lyrics.
Plastic Tree’s current sound ranges from hardcore rock to pop.
On August 13th, Plastic Tree will be playing their “Tent 2” live at the Nippon Budokan for the third time and they have now announced their public seeking of a poster design.
As for the conditions on age, pro or amateur status of the designers and other personal limitations have yet to be announced, however, the use of photo of the members, Nippon Budokan, other buildings or the logo will not be allowed.
The winner of this contest will not only have his design displayed in the main hall on that day, but also be awarded with 30,000Yen. The application period is set from June 1st until July 1st.
