Aya Sugimoto x 3-D “Kamen Rider” movie
Aya Sugimoto will star in a 3-D version of the annual summer hero movie series, “Kamen Rider W Forever A-Z – Unmei no Gaia Memory” (Kamen Rider Double Forever: A to Z/The Gaia Memories of Fate).
Sugimoto, born July 19, 1968, is a Japanese singer, model and actress.
She is best known for her J-Pop career (#1 Singles “Usagi” , “Boys” and “Gorgeous”) and movie career. Among the many roles she has played, one of her better known is that of Queen Beryl in the 2003-2004 TV series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.
This year Sugimoto will play the role of Maria S Cranberry. “My father will be really happy,” she said, confident that she is shapely enough to look good with an extra dimension. Genki Sudo, who plays a martial arts fighter and transvestite, said he’s looking forward to giving the role his all.
The movie is being filmed in 3-D and will be released in Japanese cinemas on Aug 7, 2010.
