Hotel New Awaji fully open new annex “Villa Rakuin” soon.

Additional guest rooms and sky lounge will be completed on July 17.

I informed about “Umino Hotel Shimahana” last time. The hotel is belonged to Hotel New Awaji Group, one of the leading Japanese hot-spring resort groups in Sumoto Onsen.

This time, I would like to inform about its flag ship, Hotel New Awaji. The leading hot spring hotel will fully open its new annex house “Villa Rakuin” on July 17, 2010.

The Floor “Umino-niwa” has been on trial running since October 1, 2009.

Actually, a part of the annex called “Umi-no-niwa consisting of only five rooms has been on trial running since October 1, 2009. The floor was opened with the symbolic phrase as “All charming smiles gather to the Umi-no-nwa”. Every room in the floor is laid out on the beach floor, so that guests can enjoy the sound of the waves and the chirping of birds on the beach in the morning. The hotel could achieve good reputations among guests who stayed in the annex during trial running.

In succession to “Umino-niwa”, other floors being under construction, named “Hoshi-no-niwa” and “Sora-no-niwa” and a sky lounge named “Tenjo-sajiki” in the Villa Rakuin are going to be completed so the total annex will be totally opened this time.

Each room both in “Sora-no-niwa” and “Hoshi-no-niwa” has been furnished with, as similar as a room in the floor “Umi-no-niwa”, own private outdoor bath on its terrace, sunny living and dinning area, and a bed room in a relaxing atmosphere. You will be able to feel comfortable sea breeze, and seeing a magnificent view of the sea and the boundless border between the sea and sky while taking bath.

When you step up to the top-floor sky lounge “Tenjo-sajiki” which reserved only for guests in the annex, you can enjoy a panoramic view of surrounding nature, including the Kitan Strait, and Osaka Bay, as well as small fishing ports in Komoe Inlet. Even sound of waves could be heard when you feel sea breeze and seeing flying sea birds under your eyes.
