ICONIQ x New Shiseido Ad

Singer ICONIQ, is appearing in a new commercial for Shiseido cosmetic brand MAQuillAGE. ICONIQ’S hair has grown out from her buzz-cut debut last December, and in the commercial the perfectly made-up singer struts in front of 120 extras.

ICONIQ is a Japanese pop  singer and actress. She made her debut as the leader and lead vocalist of Korean pop girl group Sugar as Ah Yoo Mee, and was previously signed as a solo artist with SM Entertainment. In 2008 she moved to Japan and debuted under Rhythm Zone as “ICONIQ” in 2009.

At the end of January, 2010, she was chosen by Shiseido as her new face to promote Shiseido’s Maquillage range. In March 2010, she released her first full album titled as her second Japanese song Change Myself.

ICONIQ is also appearing in a commercial for the Aug 7 summer festival “Wieder in Jelly a-nation ‘10.” Her new single “Tokyo Lady,” which will be in both commercials, will go on sale Aug 11 and be available as a mobile ring tone from Aug 28.
