Anniversary of the 100th BD of KEWPIE

The exhibition commemorating the 100^th birthday of KEWPIE is now being held at Utsunomiya Museum.  KEWPIE was originated in the illustration by Rose O’Neill in U.S.A.  Since then, Kewpie has got popular all over the world.

Today I put my younger boy in a stroller and went to appreciate tons of Kewpies from different countries, different eras. When my friend held her baby up to the Kewpie poster, he stopped crying and smiled at Kewpie!  Both Kewpie and a baby have a cute poochy belly, don’t they?

From the parking to the museum, you can walk through a beautiful wood and grove.
