Shida Tatsuya, born in 1978 and studied Fashion Design at the Nagoya Mode Gakuen is one of the new drivers of Japanese avant-garde design. His approach to creation is that of an artist: he uses impressions that life throws at him, works them thoroughly, and gives birth to things never seen before. A show in the Japan Fashion Week, Shida played with contrasting textures and sculptural shapes.
