A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is a highly popular brand among celebrities, and Nigo has been going hard to continue that success. In early 1990 Nigo was just beginning his career as a fashion student and magazine stylist.Produced in limited quantities, they quickly became popular in the back alleys of Tokyo’s fashion-obsessed Harajuku neighborhood.In 2009 Nigo left from BAPE and established Nigold.
