The Tatami Galaxy wins anime prize

The Tatami Galaxy(四畳半神話大系), a TV anime series directed by Masaaki Yuasa, won the Japan Media Arts Festival’s animation category grand prize.The Tatami Galaxy (lit. Four-and-a-half Tatami Mythological Chronicles) is a Japanese novel by Tomihiko Morimi, originally published in December 2004.
The TV series are depicting a college student who lives in parallel universes, won the award for ”its superb storytelling and visual arts,” according to the agency.
