Tokyo Sky Tree viewed from Kogashiyama Mt. in Utsunomiya, Tochigi
My 4-year-old son used to mix Utsunomiya Tower with Tokyo Sky Tree and once shouted, pointing at Utsunomiya Tower, “look, mom! That’s Tokyo Sky Tree, isn’t it!?” I explained to him that Utsunomiya is too far from Tokyo Sky Tree and that it was impossible to view it from here.
However, my explanation to him would be wrong!
Yesterday, the Shimotsuke Original Online News (SOON) conveyed a surprising picture of currently-under-construction Tokyo Sky Tree, which was viewed from the top of Kogashiyama Mountain in Utsunomiya-city, Tochigi. Kogashiyama Mountain is 100 km away from Tokyo Sky Tree.
The cold weather (0℃ in the early morning)on December 27th made the sky so clear that the picture could be taken at around 7:00 AM from the Mountain(583m high).
It’s amazing that the residents in Utsunomiya don’t have to take a trip to Tokyo to see Tokyo Sky Tree! All we have to do is just climb that mountain!
