EXILE took top honor at the Japan Record Awards
EXILE took home the top prize of the 52nd Japan Record Award, thanks to their song “I Wish For You.”
The Awards were presented on December 30 at the New National Theatre, Tokyo.
Exile is a 14-member all-male Japanese pop band and dance group.For the third consecutive year,They are only the second artist to win the award for three straight years, after Ayumi Hamasaki in 2001-2003.
“I Wish For You” was one of ten candidates for the award.
The other nominees were:

The Best New Artist award went to idol group S/mileage, which is a group consisting of four girls.
