Spring Season’s best 10 Anime 2011 -No.1 “TIGER &BUNNY”
Biglobe, one of the major ISPs in Japan conducted a survey of popularity poll of anime works which aired in this spring season April to June in 2011, and announced the top 10 in the ranking. http://anime.biglobe.ne.jp/feature/2011spring_result/ Biglobe implemented this poll survey using its portal survey anime website “Anime One” http://anime.biglobe.ne.jp/ , through collecting votes from its viewers.
The total number of the votes is 20,044 (one can vote more than once) and the result is as follows;
No.1「TIGER＆BUNNY」（997 votes）
No.2「DOG DAYS」（892 votes）
No.3「日常」（848 votes）
No.4「スイートプリキュア♪」（836 votes）
No.5「あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。」（828 votes）
No.6「STEINS；GATE（シュタインズ・ゲート）」（804 votes）
No.7「緋弾のアリア」（761 votes）
No.8「花咲くいろは」（744 votes）
No.9「青の祓魔師（エクソシスト）」（733 votes）
No.10「神のみぞ知るセカイII」（712 votes）
The top work “TIGER & BUNNY” http://www.tigerandbunny.net/ is a sci-fi story of heroes working and competing each other on behalf of each companies. The work is highly evaluated by a lot of people on Twitter.
Some works are sequels to a popular work, some have popular voice stars for the lead characters, and No.6 「STEINS;GATE」,which is still currently airing, is originally a popular PC game concerning time travels and parallel worlds.

Your description of T&B is not really accourate, the core of the series is that it’s a buddy story very character driven.
