A temporary barber’s shop “New Shimizu” in Ohfunato Town was decorated by wall painters

Painted it for encouraging all citizens……

A wall and a roof of temporary barber’s shop “New Shimizu” is decorated in colorful birds and flowers drawn with such wish.

‘It is something like flowers are blooming amid the rubbles.’ The customers enjoy seeing the embellishment on the exterior.

 
Mr. Kensuke Miyazaki also drew painting at shelters for tsunami victims in Miyasgi Prefecture

 

Painters are Mr. Kensuke Miyazaki (32) from Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture and other people, who also drew painting at the shelters for tsunami victim families in Miyagi Prefecture.

The painter was introduced to Mr. Yasuo Shimizu (63), the shopkeeper, through one of his friends.

“New Shimizu” was washed away at the tsunami on March 11. Mr. Shimizu has run his barber’s shop at the temporary building.
