Yokohama Hakkeijima Aquarium dresses its whales in time for Christmas

Visitors to the aquarium are being welcomed by beluga whales, that are getting into the Christmas spirit with these festive ensembles.

The beluga whales have been fitted out with the Santa hats to entertain the crowds at the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise (横浜・八景島シーパラダイス).

Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise is an amusement park consisting of an aquarium, shopping mall, hotel, marina and amusement rides. It is located in Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama, . It opened for business on May 8, 1993.

The whales have been dressed in the hats as the aquarium bosses attempt to draw in larger crowds in the build up to Christmas celebrations.

And there’s even a chance for children to get a wet kiss under the mistletoe from their favourite sea creatures.
