Unlimited train ride tickets to be on sale for foreigners
Three Japan Railway group companies said they will sell from April 10 five-day unlimited ride tickets to foreigners for travel in western Japan.
The JR-Sanyo-Shikoku-Kyushu rail pass will allow the holder to use all shinkansen bullet, express and local trains on Sanyo lines west of the Osaka area, all JR lines on Shikoku, and all or northern JR lines of Kyushu Island. The pass does not cover lines in some areas such as Sanin.

An adult ticket limiting travel to northern Kyushu will sell for 22,000 yen, and 25,000 yen for a ticket valid for travel throughout Kyushu.

The pass, available at major stations of West Japan Railway Co., Shikoku Railway Co. and Kyushu Railway Co., will be sold to those short-term travelers with passports issued by foreign governments.
