Actress Jessica Alba and singer GACKT attended an opening event for “Tommy Hilfiger Omotesando” at ‘Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku‘ on April 16th.

Did GACKT feel nervous next to Jessica Alba?

GACKT, who was asked about his first impressions on Jessica, stated, “She’s sexy and beautiful. I never thought I’d meet her like this.” He continued, “Can you understand? How nervous I am.”

Tommy Hilfiger is an American apparel brand, and this store in Omotesando marks the first flagship store in Asia. It spreads throughout 3 stories, covering a gross area of 1,000 square meters (10,764 sq feet). This store will carry Japan’s first men’s and women’s collection line, and will become the world’s first Hilfiger store to take semi-orders for men’s tailoring.

As this was Jessica’s first time visiting Japan with her family, she shared, “I went to Kiddy Land, Roppongi, and the Imperial Hotel. I learned Japanese words like ‘Konnichiwa’ and ‘Arigato’. I also ate ramen.” She seemed to be enjoying her stay in Japan as she added, “I went to see the cherry blossoms with my daughter. I played with my daughter with the flower petals. I’m very fortunate to visit Japan during this season.”
