“There are a lot of people who may not be able to keep pets inside their houses, so we really recommend this product for them. For those people who already have pets, they could buy the ‘Smart Pet’ and their real pets can play with the ‘Smart Pet’ as another friend,” said Yoko Kato, part of the Innovative toy team of Bandai.
The price of the ‘Smart Pet’ ranges from 5,000 to 6,000 yen ($62-75 USD).
The International Tokyo Toy Show opens to the public over the weekend on June 16 and 17.
