Visa free & Multi-time visa for ASEAN countries

The Japanese government announced to set up new policies of  abolishing requirements of visas to tourists from Thailand and Malaysia, and  of  issuing multi-time visas for tourists from Vietnam and Philippines. The tourists from the first two countries can currently receive multi-time visas, while those from the latter two can currently receive only one-time visas. Tokyo really expects to boost the number of  such tourists from those ASEAN countries to Japan with the new relaxation policies.
