Lucy Pop – Japanese girls’ stylish clothes similar to the uniform

Fashion creator Kamiyama has a keen sense on the trends of Japanese youths, and his new designs incorporate a look that is being used in more and more video games, TV shows, and movies.

Lucy Pop is the name of his brand, and he now collaborates with many corporations and famous individuals like Danny Choo who’s Mirai chan figure has come to life with an outfit and anyone can wear.

In this episode, we’ll take a closer look at Kamiyama’s Lucy Pop fashions and learn more about why high school girls are interested in this kind of style.

Nagoya Castle Honmaru palace’s first stage of reconstruction completed

The first stage of  the reconstruction project of Nagoya Castle “Honmaru palace”(/本丸御殿, honmaru-goten, the main palace) being completed , opened to public on the 29th. (http://www.nagoyajo.city.nagoya.jp/13_english/) and (http://www.hommaru-palace.city.nagoya.jp/)

The castle was originally built in 1615 as the residence and palace of  the feudal lords of the Owari Tokugawa family which was the top lineage of the three highest relative family-clans of  the Tokugawa shogun family. The Honmaru palace was actually the residence for the lords and later on it came to be used exclusively for the guest house for shoguns when they visited the castle.

 

 

The palace’s pre-openning show was hosted  to the press and a grand opening ceremony was hosted by the city with  Nagoya Mayor, Takashi Kawamura,  who confidently made a remark where he told the press that this reconstruction was quite accurate and faithful according to the original design’s blueprint, Shoichiro Toyota, honorary chairperson of Toyota, and other about 250 guests.    Nagoya Omotenashi Busho-tai (/名古屋おもてなし武将隊,  Nagoya hospitality warlords group),  which is a  dance performer’s group of six whose members wear special costumes of  warlords in warring state age joined and conducted a performance show there. The six warlords of  Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, Ieyasu Tokugawa, Toshiie Maeda, Kiyomasa Kato, and Keiji, whose parts are performed by the Busho-tai members were all from Nagoya, closer areas,or related to those areas and still popular in those areas or even nationwide as historical figures. Nagoya Castle Park is open 9:00am – 16:30pm(entrance to the Keep or Honmaru palace is up to 16:00pm) but  9:00am – 18:30pm(entrance up to 17:00pm) between May 29th – Sep. 1st in 2013. The addmission fee is  ￥500 for an adult and ￥100 for an elderly citizen of Nagoya City,  and free of charge for a junior high school student and younger, and discounts are available for certain types of  a group.

These designs are between Kimono and western clothes.

Especially, I used real Kimono and Obi to make the vocalist’s costume.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This song’s name is 「六兆年と一夜物語」(Rokutyounen to ichiyamonogatari) .
Original song is Vocaloid song by IA(one of Vocaloid).

Zipper magazine which offers distinctive looks for teenage will held a special event “Zipper 20th LAFORET PARTY” will be held at Laforet HARAJUKU on Mar 30.

A Fashion show, live show and talk event will be held featuring model and singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, duo singers PUFFY, actress Riisa Naka, performer IMALU, photographer Mika Ninagawa, Akiba idols, dempagumi.inc and others.

I”m on the romance car because usual train is

crowdy. That”s insane.

6%DOKIDOKI opens pop-up store at Isetan

6%DOKIDOKI is temporarily open within “TOKYO Kaihouku” on the 2nd floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku.

On the 30th, Masuda attended the event with his shop staff. Fans of the brand lined up to take photos with Masuda and his staff as well as receive autographs.

The producer of the brand Sebastian Masuda met Kyary Pamyu Pamyu as she was a customer of the brand and he now handles the art direction of the star’s concerts and music videos. The participants of the event included elementary school students who came to know the brand through the influence of Kyary and adults who have been fans since their teens.

“Oneri”, walking parade of Kabuki stars in Ginza

On this March 27th, about 60 Kabuki stars joined a special event of  celebrating the grand opening of  the newly rebuilt Kabukiza (the main Kabuki theater in Higashi Ginza)planned to open on coming April 2nd in Ginza, Tokyo.

The event was called “Oneri”, which was a walking parade on the main street for about one hour 10:00-11:00. Tojuro Sakata, president of Japan Actors’ Association as well as a versed Kabuki actor made an opening speech, “A new chapter in the  history of the 400- year old  Kabuki  is about to me marked. We sincerely ask you to support Kabuki and the new Kabukiza. “. Junichi Sakomoto, president of Shochiku that facilitate kabuki shows gave a sign to start the parade and  banners were hung and  kabuki actors such as  Tokizo Nakamura, Ennosuke Ichikawa, Ebizo Ichikawa, Kankuro Nakamura, Schinosuke Nakamura, and other  popular Kabuki stars showed up, clad in traditional  Japanese clothing of  Montsuki-hakama,  and joined the parade, led by Japanese style acrobats.  They waved their hands to excited spectators of about 20,000 and walked about 400m there.

An event on lolita fashion”Princess Dream5″

On March 3rd,I went to “Princess Dream5”,an event for people who love lolita fashion.

Various artists showed and sold their works.

Let me introduce some of them.

The first is “Pina sweetcollection(http://www.pina-sweetcollection.jp/)”.

 

The brand manages the event.

The designer Yuko Sato told me that she began “PrincessDream”because there were not enough places to enjoy shopping

for people who like lolita fashion,and that she was eager to do it by herself.

Also,she had to overcome hardships like less guests and difficult advertisement.

Now,she gets motivated by many guests.

In the future,fashionshows and tea parties may be planned.

This is my favorite fake sweets accessory brand,and also I play an role as a model in the catalog and website!!
