A limited time shop in Shibuya! One piece dress and tights only
In Parco 1, there is a new limited time shop where they only sell one piece dress and tights only.
It’s a very unique brand where designers and artists’s work are put directly towards the dresses and leg wears.
30 tights are created by 12 different artists. There are tights where illustrators/painter’s art pieces are cut out and printed directly on it.
The “one piece dress and tights”‘s one piece dress will be out in 2013 S/S, but this shop will have it in earlier!
There are innovative tights where motifs of bread, cup cakes, vegetables, and various foods are printed.

Alice in Wasedaland 2012
I went to the Waseda university festival.
“Alice in Wasedaland “2012 is hosted by our Tenkai-japan.com english blogger Ai’s “Gothic&Lolita and Punk club”.
Fashion show:
The movie: “Gothic-chan and Lolita chan”
The staff’s sense of style was really shown off with their movie.
A little more polishing and I think it would be an awesome movie.
A picture of a talk show with:
(Right) A fashion model, Misako Aoki
(Middle) Momo Matsuura, the co-author of ” The world, Lolita fashion and I”
(Left) The designer of the Lolita brand ” Pina Sweet Collection”
Misako said wearing “kawaii” clothes makes me feel confident. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people. Lolita fashion to me is a ” battle piece”

Soccer players x fashion scene
I’ll first start off with Kazuyoshi Miura, aka: ” King Kazu”, which he was choosen for the world cup futsal.
He looks exactly like an Italian mafia! Only Kazu can pull it off.
Next is Hidetoshi Nakata, who has played in Italy.
He looks awesome! Do people just become stylish when they go to Italy?
And lastly is main athlete from our league. The man who’s known to wearing 2 watches, Keisuke Honda.
A man with all the charisma surely has unique style in fashion.
For my next post, I will be posting ” The worst dressers of the league” lol

Vintage Chanel
I recently started working at an import vintage store. Since then, I’m really in to Chanel!
The materials, structure, and the shape of their bags and accessories are just amazing and has great depths. A lot to learn from!
When I’m going to open up my own store in the future, I hope to handle some vintage Chanel.
I hop to becoming a mature women suitable for Chanel!

Can lunch tell you about your personality??
My lunch today was my typical left over, while Mana’s lunch was made by her brother with much love. Tomato sauce chicken pasta!
I actually wanted to take a picture of everyone’s lunch, but once lunch time begins, everyone leaves the classroom to go buy, or eat lunch.
The only ones left are the “home-made lunch” group. Yano, Shimojima, Mana and me.
Yano’s lunch is made buy his mom. Im sure it tastes good since he looks happy all the time when eating it.
I envy Mana’s lunch, since she always makes it from scratch and looks so delicious!
I’m always impressed by Shimojima since he makes his own lunch too.
Eri LOVES noodles. One time, I saw her eating a noodle salad and pasta at the same time lol. Made me realize how much she loves noodles!
Shiori always eats pasta salad. She usually buys one more item, but she is extremely slow at eating, she often runs out of time to eat during lunch. As a result, I always see her snack on it afterwards during class.
Momoko always drinks soy milk with some kind of nuts or vegetables. No wonder she’s so slim!
After looking at other people’s lunch, it made me realize their personality and lifestyle. Kinda interesting eh??
We only have limited time left to enjoy lunch at school. I’d love to cherish these moments!

Anne Hathaway
The actress I focused this time was Anne Hathaway from ” Pretty Princess”and ” Devils Wears Prada”.
Recently she cut her hair short for the role for “Le Miserable”.
Long hair was her trade mark!
Her bangs are cut shorter than her eyebrows, and many celebrities
have been after this hair style.
You can style it natural if you comb it to the side, of have fun by
wrapping a head scarf around it.
She pairs her new hair style with a simple casual outfit.
Denim dress x short boots, and lace knit sweater x pants.
I’m looking forward to her hair style and fashion as well as
her upcoming movie!

Job
During my summer break, I went to “Kidsania Tokyo” which is in Lalaport.
This is a place where kids can experience different kinds of occupation.
My princess pretending to be a nurse and bathing a baby 🙂
My princess in a fireman’s gear extinguishing fire!
And at last, my princess holding tightly to her money she earned! In this department store, adults are not allowed. Kids only!! Children are able to savor
shopping 🙂
So my princess ended up buying one tiny cake eraser…
She juggled 5 jobs in 1 day and this is what she gets…*Sigh* such hard work earning money

Bag x Armadillo??
I would like to introduce my hottest fashion item that I
bought recently! It’s an armadillo basket bag by Kate Spade!
I’ve been looking for this my entire life after I fell in love with it
when I saw it in a magazine! I was dying to buy it but it was over
my budget…But I just could not give up!
I found the bag on sale when I went to Taiwan for a vacation!
This bag looks like a real armadillo! Especially the hard basket
looks identical to the hard exterior that an armadillo has.
Kate Spade makes animal basket bag every summer. Last year it was an elephant! I wonder what it will be next year!!

Anyone up for a shopping spree?
Since its summer, I rocked my RAYBAN shades and went out for a ride!
1 hour of motorcycling and finally made it to my destination!
(It rained halfway and had to stopy by Mc Donald for a quick break 😛 )
Riding across Enoshima and heading towards the Enoshima shrine. Approximately 5 mins and there it is!!
The store is called ” Sen yen koubou, yume kuroudou”( A dream island where everything is 1000yen). Just how the name states it, everything here is only 1000yen!
Some of the products incudes such thing as accessories, wallets, clothes, clocks and even traditional Japanese dolls. They’re all 1000yen!!
I was extremely surprised when I stepped in to the store. “…What!? these are all 1000yen? Really? ”
Yes indeed, they are all 1000yen! and did I tell you that it’s all 1000yen? lol …yes I am being persistent lol
This is tourist area, so some of the signs were written in 4 different languages! Brilliant eh?
This will allow foreigners to shop smoothly, especially at the cashier if everything is 1000yen!
Anyone who is interested, please check it out!

My students in Ebisu
The Vantan Design Institute is located within easy walking distance from Ebisu station.
Today, my students had a field trip to Yebisu Garden Place. This site features a large array of restaurants and shops including a Mitsukoshi department store, the Westin Tokyo hotel, the Michelin 3-star Chateau Restaurant Taillvent-Robuchon, offices, residential space and a photography museum. A nearby fashionable site adds to the sophisticated atmosphere of the area and is one of the popular spots in Ebisu region. Yebisu Garden Place is built on the former site of a beer brewery, where the still existing Yebisu Beer brand had been brewed since 1890. |
I love★studded things
Let me start by saying how much I loved studded things.
Since I’m not a big fan of Kawaii things, there’s nothing more exciting than seeing studded things.(*^^*)
Obviously, everyone else loved these, too.
My students in Daikanayama
Today, my students of Vantan Design Institute had a field trip to Daikanyama area in Tokyo.
Daikanyama is known as a hot spot of shopping for locals. There is a wide variety of boutique and sidewalk restaurants and cafes. Multiple courtyards are located between restaurants and homes and the low rise buildings give the neighborhood a more subdued classic style than the hyper-modern high rises of Tokyo’s other shopping districts.
